イタリアを拠点に活躍する台湾人画家マリシャンとアイスランドを拠点に活躍する版画家エミリア・テレーズの2人展。作風もスタイルも異なる2人のアーティストの作品のコントラストをお楽しみ下さい。会期中アーティストも在廊いたします。

■プロフィール

Malishan

Emilia Telese

Emilia Telese is an Italian-born artist based in Reykjavík, Iceland. Working across painting, printmaking, performance and installation, she has exhibited internationally since 1994. She graduated in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence in 1996 and subsequently lived in the Uk for 25 years, studying at the University of Brighton, the University of Sussex and the University of Warwick,

completing a PhD at Loughborough University in 2021. Her work has been presented at institutions and events including the Louvre, the 51st Venice Biennale, Ars Electronica, ZKM Karlsruhe, the Freud Museum,

Leeds City Gallery and London's Royal Festival Hall. Since moving to Iceland in 2019, her practice has increasingly engaged with the country's landscape and its material processes.
